Using RideAware

By downloading or using RideAware you agree to these terms. The app is provided for personal, non-commercial use by cyclists.

Safety limitations

RideAware assists your decision-making; it does not replace it. Route safety scores are estimates based on available data and may be incomplete or out of date. Hazard alerts depend on third-party feeds and community reports.

Fall detection depends on your phone's sensors, battery level and mobile coverage. It can miss a fall or trigger without one. RideAware never automatically calls emergency services, it opens the 000 dialler for you or a bystander to use.

Always obey NSW road rules, ride to the conditions, and keep your attention on the road rather than your phone.

Your account and content

You're responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide, including emergency contact information, and for having that person's consent to be contacted.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email.
